Astounding New Alums
Our brand-new alumni hail from 43 states and 59 countries. They range from 18 years old to 69 years old. And 1,268 of them are the first in their family to earn a college degree.
By every metric, this year鈥檚 graduating class excelled and exceeded expectations. We can鈥檛 wait to see what鈥檚 next.

鈥淭o be graduating with my bachelor鈥檚 of social work in just 3 years, 4.0 GPA and debt-free all are nothing short of testimony after testimony. All proof of a God who has never failed me, and a reality that He has heard every prayer 鈥� especially those whispered faithfully by my mother long before I understood the weight of them.
Looking back, I see the hand that sustained me, the goodness that followed me, and the love that kept me. Yet, beyond the grades, accolades and internships 鈥� the sweetest part of the journey has been deeper friendship with Him. Being able to do it all with Him and for His glory.

鈥淟ooking back on my five years in Raleigh, I鈥檓 grateful for, and proud of what I鈥檝e built. Failure was an important lesson and part of my journey. I think it鈥檚 something people shy away from, but it shouldn鈥檛 be. I learned you won鈥檛 do what you鈥檙e not interested in.
With that in mind, I鈥檝e followed what I鈥檓 interested in. It鈥檚 taken me to Omaha and Orlando to cover the College World Series and the Pop Tart Bowl as a photographer for Student Media. It鈥檚 taken me to Milan, Vienna and Prague pursuing my international studies degree. It鈥檚 taken me to observing native Venus flytraps in the Green Swamps of North Carolina and uncovering fossil plants from rock in Virginia pursuing my plant biology degree.
College is all about opportunities, and some of them won鈥檛 pan out, but others will make you the 2024 pool battleship intramural champions, and I can鈥檛 wait to see what opportunities the future holds! Go Pack!鈥� 鈥擥riffin Bryant 鈥�25, @ncstatecals and @ncstatechass
