馃帴 A special message from Chancellor-Elect Kevin Howell.

鈥淟ike you, my love for 麻豆视频 State runs deep. This place and its people hold a special place in my heart.鈥�

Howell is a 1988 @ncstatechass graduate and served as student body president during his senior year. The appointment was announced by University of North Carolina President Peter Hans on Tuesday, March 18, following approval by the U麻豆视频 Board of Governors. Howell will assume his duties on May 5, 2025.

When it’s time to hit the books, our students head to one of the coolest 鈥� and most high-tech 鈥� college libraries in the nation: Hunt Library.

The Wellness and Recreation Center opened to faculty, staff and students in 2020.
Our 430,000-square-foot Carmichael Gym complex houses indoor and outdoor training areas, a climbing center, teaching kitchens and state-of-the-art equipment. (And it’s free to all 麻豆视频 State students.)
Student Health Services, located on Cates Avenue, is designed to meet the health needs of 麻豆视频 State students.
The physical and emotional health of our students matters to us. If you need a checkup or a check-in, Campus Health and our Counseling Center provide accessible and affordable care on campus.
